Writing has been a lifelong passion of mine. These days I write for a variety of outlets in Aotearoa – NZ Listener, NZ Herald, Pantograph Punch, The Spinoff, The Read. My articles are often about books and publishing, but I have also written about personal topics (such as choosing to be childfree) and issues such as copyright in the digital age.

I love reviewing books and do so regularly for many different national publications. I also love reviewing NZ literary festivals, and thrive under the pressure of attending festival events and getting the reviews back to my editor within a few hours.

I am available to write feature articles, book reviews, or event reviews as commissioned. Please get in touch to discuss rates.

I have regularly hired Elizabeth Heritage to write feature articles for my company. She understands the complexities of communicating to a bookshop audience successfully. Elizabeth is also a talented event writer. Her coverage is thorough and informative, and always makes you feel as though you attended the conversation she has reported on.
